Description

The successful candidate will possess a strong grasp of federal acquisition regulations and bring a strategic approach to negotiation, compliance monitoring and cross functional collaboration.  The Subcontracts Administrator will work closely with internal teams to align subcontracting practices with organizational goals ensuring quality, accountability and contractual integrity.

Requirements

• 5 – 15 years of experience supporting subcontract administration activities for government and / or commercial programs, including subcontract issuance, drafting modifications, assisting negotiations and compliance monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, law / legal studies, acquisition / contract management or a related field.
• Working knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR / DFARS) and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with cost-reimbursable, fixed-price and time-and-materials subcontracts.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced program environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting government contracts or defense programs.
• Professional certification such as Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) or equivalent.
• Proficient using SAM.gov website, SharePoint and Deltek Costpoint.

Location/Work Schedule:

This is a remote work-from-home position. While the role offers flexibility, the Subcontracts Administrator is expected to be available during standard business hours and maintain a dedicated workspace. Occasionally, this position may require support outside of regular hours, including early mornings or evenings, to meet critical deadlines or business needs. May require occasional travel.
