At First 5 LA, our mission is to work in partnership with others to strengthen families, communities, and systems of services and supports so all children in L.A. County enter kindergarten ready to succeed in school and life.

To achieve that mission, First 5 LA is increasing its emphasis on systems change, collaboration and public policy. This emphasis supports the organization's goal of maximizing positive outcomes for children prenatal to age 5.

To strengthen First 5 LA’s ability to effectively execute its new Strategic Plan, the organization is working to align its structure to its mission and strategy.
