Description
As Environmental Services Director at Aramark, you will lead housekeeping, laundry, and infection prevention programs in a healthcare setting. Oversee daily operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Partner with clinical and facilities teams to support quality outcomes, safety initiatives, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, safety regulations, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA)
Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning protocols, quality audits, and performance metrics
Manage departmental budget, forecasting, purchasing, and vendor relationships
Recruit, train, schedule, and coach frontline and supervisory staff across multiple shifts
Collaborate with nursing, facilities, and administration to support patient experience and clinical outcomes
Drive continuous improvement, sustainability, and standardization of procedures and products
Respond to client needs, resolve service issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction
Oversee inventory control and safe use of chemicals, equipment, and supplies
Prepare reports and present operational results to internal leadership and client stakeholders
